Buggering off.

It's amazing how void and lonely it feels when our visitors leave. Each time, I am reminded that I am *not* cut out for goodbyes.
When I told a friend in London (many years ago) about my hating goodbyes, he said that I needed to stop "buggering off" because I was coming and going so frequently. Each time I left those friends, the distance between us always left me heart broken. This whole experiment has really ripped open those same old wounds. Is it worth it?

I know how you feel. Whenever I send a visitor off, the next day may be relaxing, but it is depressing as well.
I'm already getting sad about leaving and i haven't gotten there yet!! Whenever i see my family and friends again (aka this weekend) i think about moving back to Indy too... it sucks being away.
Glad to know you both get it. It's just a bummer having to be tied to a place that you don't really relate to. I feel like I fit in better here, but yet, don't have those people around to justify it...
