The missing link.

As we walked on the beach, we came across 3 sand dollars!

We went on a little excursion to Bainbridge Island today for brunch and a trip to the Kiana Lodge. The Kiana played a major role in Twin Peaks, so we've intended to go there for awhile. When we arrived, S said it was the missing piece--the only major sights from the show we have not seen yet. Not only did the Kiana serve as the interior of the Great Northern Hotel, but just outside is the beach where Laura Palmer's body washed up on shore in the show's pilot. It was freaky standing in this familiar setting. Even freakier when S said that he wished he could wrap me up in plastic and take a photo of me on the beach next to the log... =)
