Before & After.

The weather was pretty incredible here this weekend. We decided to take on the challenge of ripping up bricks from the pie-shaped planting area in front the house. It is such an obvious spot for landscaping, yet the former owners chose to do nothing about it. We were pretty sick of looking at the weed garden it was developing into and added some pretty cool plants that would never survive in Indiana, including a tropical Canna. Fingers crossed I don't kill it...

Now we're just left to deal with the three different kinds of material that make up our driveway. Ugh.
